Triangle Quilt

Triangle Quilt

Triangle Quilt- 49.5″ x 65″

My Triangle Quilt is finally finished and bound! This one was fun to quilt too…lots of straight lines makes it simpler:)

The fabrics are Simply Style and Boho Girl.  I also threw in some solids to break it up.

I loved this fun paisley for the backing. I like the back of a quilt to be extra sassy!

Triangle6

I quilted it using a 50wt. Aurifil thread in lime from the Simplify collection. I am so in love with these threads!!! I used a navy for the binding.

  9. this is a lovely quilt, I think what has most surprised me most since I started on the quilt route is that all colours go! nothing seems not to match, yours is a good example as at one time they would never put blue, green and turquoise together but I think it really sings.

  18. This turned out so beautifully! I really love the fabrics and that backing paisley is amazing! I really love the colors of the new simplify aurifil threads but I’m discovering that my machine is much more finicky with using cotton thread when I want to free motion quilt. It does beautifully with straight line stitching using my walking foot, but for fmq my new go-to thread is isacord. I’m seriously considering adding this quilt to my wish list to make someday. I just love it!
