My Triangle Quilt is finally finished and bound! This one was fun to quilt too…lots of straight lines makes it simpler:)

I loved this fun paisley for the backing. I like the back of a quilt to be extra sassy!

I quilted it using a 50wt. Aurifil thread in lime from the Simplify collection. I am so in love with these threads!!! I used a navy for the binding.

It’s triangle time people!!!

I am finally getting to my lovely stack of Simply Style by V and Co. that has been sitting on my sewing table for months! I have been dying to do a triangle quilt forever and ever and ever…okay maybe only a year, but it felt like forever:)

Actually the proper name is an Equilateral Triangle Quilt, not to be confused with the Isosceles Triangle Quilt. Now you got to go back to your math/geometry vault on this one. Equilateral triangles have equal sides and are called 60 degree triangles in the quilt world…well, in all the worlds actually. Isosceles triangles have to have two equal sides and are more like 45 degree triangles to quilters. Think short and stumpy(equilateral) and long and lean(isosceles).
