Oh my goodness! Tomorrow is Christmas Eve:) I don’t know about you, but I’m excited for some fun family time and time off to enjoy the peace and quiet that comes just before the new year.

  36. My favorite block is the double wedding ring, also because it reminds me of my grandmother. That being said, I have made one and it will be the only one. It is very difficult to do, which makes me appreciate it even more.

  37. My favorite is the log cabin. It was the pattern for my first quilt and I still love it.

  39. My all time favorite quilt block is the log cabin. My first quilt was a heart log cabin and I love all the variations of the log cabin.

    My favorite quilt block is the 9 patch. When I was ten in 1962 I made my first quilt, a 9 patch. I got the fabric from all my neighbors, I hand stitched all the blocks and my dad built a quilt frame. The best part, my whole family quilted… my mom, dad and even my 2 older brothers. I still have the well loved quilt and the memories of a great time together. Merry Christmas, Kathy

  83. I like the classic 4-patch and 9-patch designs. There are so many ways to set them, mix them with other blocks, on point, ….

  84. Oooohhh, great prizes! I haven’t been at this long enough to really find a favorite yet, but I suppose so far I’d say the four patch (disappearing? you cut it twice and sew it back together differently). See how much I (don’t) know? LOL.
