  2. My favorite block is a log cabin and shoo fly is a close 2nd. The quilt you made is beautiful. Thank you for another beautiful give away.

  3. I always fall in love with what I am doing at that moment especially if I am using crumbs so never know how it will turn out. Thank you for your generosity and have a Wonderful Christmas.

  4. My favorite block is the churn dash. It’s the first quilt I ever made and many years later it is still my favorite.
Merry Christmas to you and your family.

  5. i love the log cabin, i also like the hsts but dont know if you would consider it a traditional block. i love your quilt! it is so beautiful. thank you and your sponsor for a great giveaway. i have never used aurifil thread but would love to try it

  6. I just started sewing again last year and I love just about anything I can get my hands on to sew! I am also new to blogging, my daughter told me yesterday that I should check it out so here I am, yours was the first!

  7. One of my favorite blocks is Churn Dash. I would love to make a Double Wedding Ring quilt sometime. It’s such a beautiful quilt.

  8. I love so many traditional blocks and as with you I also love Double Wedding Ring. Haven’t made one yet but it’s definitely on my “to do” list. Have a Blessed Christmas with your family.

  9. I enjoy doing the flying geese block. Happy Holidays to you and your family..Thank you for sharing this wonderful giveaway!!

  10. My favorite block is the double wedding ring, also because it reminds me of my grandmother. That being said, I have made one and it will be the only one. It is very difficult to do, which makes me appreciate it even more.

  11. My all time favorite quilt block is the log cabin. My first quilt was a heart log cabin and I love all the variations of the log cabin.

  12. My favorite quilt block is the 9 patch. When I was ten in 1962 I made my first quilt, a 9 patch. I got the fabric from all my neighbors, I hand stitched all the blocks and my dad built a quilt frame. The best part, my whole family quilted… my mom, dad and even my 2 older brothers. I still have the well loved quilt and the memories of a great time together. Merry Christmas, Kathy

  13. I don’t have a lot of experience yet, but right now the disappearing nine patch is my favorite. Thank you!

  14. I remember doing a sampler quilt when I first took quilting lessons, and Jacob’s Ladder was a favourite of mine! Thanks for the giveaway!

  15. My favorite would have to be a Dresden block. Their fun to make and I think they are the cutest thing there is. What little girl wouldn’t like to get a quilt made with the dresden block. Thanks for the giveaways you do all year. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and your family.

  16. Very fave block has always been the Log Cabin….& Clay’s Choice was second. Kinda changing anymore tho….seems whichever I am workin’ on becomes the NEW Fave!! lol Making D9P now…so definitely my current favorite!! :)

  17. I’m currently in love with the Maple Leaf block – no idea why, just feeling in a very Autumnal mood…. Merry Christmas

  18. I always love whatever the project on hand is,except working with baby cloth. ;) But would love to do a star block. But hmmm which one:) Thanks and have a wonderful Christmas! Congratulations to Patty M.

  19. My favorite Block ids The Dresden Plate block. I also like the Double Wedding Ring too. I just like the old fashioned looks od the Dresden. Thank you for the giveaway. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and yours.

  20. What a beautiful quilt! Awesome giveaway! My favorite block is any kind of star block, so many and they are all beautiful!

Thank you for a super giveaway and a chance to win.

  21. I love log cabin pattern not only it is easy to follow but there are so many possibilities that we play around it! Thanks for the chance.

  22. Have to say card trick. One of the first I learned way back when and still love it. Merry Christmas, Happy Kwanza or happy Fetivus!

  23. I think whatever block I’m currently working on is my favorite. Or blocks, I guess. Never have just one project going. thanks.

  24. Oooohhh, great prizes! I haven’t been at this long enough to really find a favorite yet, but I suppose so far I’d say the four patch (disappearing? you cut it twice and sew it back together differently). See how much I (don’t) know? LOL.

  25. What a lovely set of prizes! :D Strangely, I’ve lately been really drawn to the churn dash. I never really cared for it alone, but then I started seeing it used to great effect in a full quilt, and now I can’t get enough of it. :)

  26. Log cabin. It is the only one I have tried so far but hope to expand my attempts at creating quilts.
Thank you for the chance to win.

  27. I must say that my favorite is also the Double Wedding Ring. I just made my first, and tough as it was, I found that it went OK – I can’t wait to try another. A modern version would be beautiful in Simply Style! Thanks for the chance to win, and I hope you had a Merry Christmas!
