So what holiday spirit booster has Millstone Quilts  and Aurifil provided this week>>>>>

Jubilee

A five piece Aurifil thread set and a Jubilee charm pack by Bunny Hill!

These light, icy tones have a wintry feel to me and the thread set includes a sample of Aurifil’s different products perfect for testing out and finding what you like best.

  1. Great giveaway Christa! I’m NOT a sneaky peeker… I love the surprise and my husband is so great at hearing my wants and needs all year long and surprising me. I’m blessed! Thanks again…

  2. Oh yes, I also love a surprise. Can’t wait for Christmas, I feel just like a child myself! Hubby always blesses me out of my socks. Many happys for yesterday. I love that little charm pack, thank you for the opportunity to win it.

  3. When I was young I use to try to figure it out, now, even if I get a present before the 24th I put it under the tree and wait patiently until Christmas Eve when we celebrate.

  4. Both! I sneak and spy and find a sense of accomplishment when I discover what I’m getting; but then I want the giver to be sneaky enough to manage to get me a surprise too. (I’m not really a horrible selfish person, it just sounds that way!)

  5. Surprise are great… but if I see the package I have to open it :) so to surprise me it’s better to hide them ;)
Thanks for the chance to win!

  6. What a fantastic giveaway! I love a good surprise now; but when I was a little kid, my mother had presents at the neighbor’s so they’d stay a surprise. I was quite the rotten kid! 8-)

  7. Oooooh, I love surprises!!!! My sister was sneaky–she’d open EVERYONE’S gifts before the holiday–not just her own!!

  8. As a kid I was always super sneaky, I recall one year when I was 11 or 12 I even unwrapped/rewrapped some of my gifts that were under the tree! (that was a true low for me). As an adult though, I much more prefer the surprise. Occasionally my sneaky side wants to come back out, but most times I can control her.

  9. When I was still living with my parents I used to look in my Mum’s cupboard and carefully open and close again the Xmas presents! I’m not a great fan of surprises but I don’t peak anymore!

  10. I am ALWAYS trying to figure out what I’m getting! Not only do I go looking for them, but I constantly bug everyone asking!
    Thank you!

  11. I like a surprise, but I was always the snoop around until I found my gift type. My mom always hid all the presents in a trunk in her bedroom, which somehow she thought we didn’t know about, so I’d always peek at everything before she wrapped it up. And then on Christmas I’d be kicking myself because I already knew what was in all the packages and it’s way less fun that way.

  12. Love a good surprise!! I’m with Deb love things I didn’t even know I wanted yet! And anything from Millstone would fit the bill !

  13. I don’t worry about what’s in the pkgs. I can wait until I open them except the one from my grown daughter. She alway’s tells me what she got me as soon as she gets it! She can’t wait!

  14. I like surprises. However, when I was a kid I unwrapped one of my presents under the tree. It was an electronic game called Merlin. I played it. Then I wrapped it back up, put it under the tree and acted surprised when I opened it. I still have it, by the way.

  15. As a kid I was the sneaky kind. I always found a lot of my gifts. Sometimes though Mom hid them so well even she couldn’t find them. She’d find some more through out the year, so it was like Christmas all year. As I got older I preferred surprises. I could never guess what they were. It was more fun that way. The material you bought is wonderful. I love the pastel colors of the fabric and thread. Thanks for the giveaway. Have a very Merry Christmas.

  16. I hate and love surprises. If I know that there is a special surprise it kills me not to know. If I am surprised about the surprise then I really enjoy it. I actually have the hardest time keeping surprises from other people. One year, when I was a kid, my grandmother took me shopping. It was April at the time. She let me by a gift for my mother for Mother’s Day. I was so excited about it that I insisted that my mother open it that afternoon. My mom tried to tell me that she wanted to wait, but I would have nothing to do with it. I made her open it then. I ended up giving her something different for Mother’s Day, to replace the gift I already gave her.

  17. I love surprises :) But this year, at least, I do know what I am getting from the hubby. He had to ask since it is quite expensive for us and wanted to make sure I really wanted/needed it. Yes, I am getting an Ipad Air…like I said a tad expensive here in Australia, but I know I definitely want it. Can’t wait to add all the quilting apps I can find .

  18. What a lovely giveaway, thanks for the chance! I like to be surprised sort of…if I don’t give my dh some direction, I usually end up with something not quite right!

  19. My daughter surprises me. I always tell my husband what to get me. You’re a new blog for me. I start following you today.

  20. Oh, I am bad. I try too figure out what is in packages. I’ve been that way all my life. I can remember trying to guess Christmas gifts when I was a kid!

  21. Happy belated birthday! I love to be surprised but if someone bought a present for one of my kids I would sneak a peak

  22. Oh, I definitely like to be surprised, and I like to hold out for as long as possible. The magic is alive while it’s all wrapped up!

  23. I kind of like surprises but I don’t think my husband is very good at them. I was always sneaking when I was a kid though.

  24. I’m the sneaky type but this year I refuse to snoop or ask questions. I want my kids to grow up with surprises. hayleymstephens at gmail dot com

  25. Thanks for a lovely giveaway. I love surprises, but if I see a present for me I can’y help but feel and rattle it.

  26. I don’t get so many surprises now I’m grown up but they’re still lovely when they happen! Thanks for the generous offer and happy Christmas to you – hope you get surprises too!

  27. It is all about the surprise, I love it that way. Peeked once when I was a child and it was awful Christmas morning. thanks for a chance to win.

  28. I like to try and figure out what I am getting. I have one son who gets really mad when I shake his presents and guess. So I don’t guess with him anymore. :)

  29. I really want to be surprised although my husband is not good at keeping surprises. He always seems to let something slip like the store or how much something was or he’ll ask how to get on a particular website. Stuff like that so most of the time, I know what he’s getting me. Ugh

  30. Ooooooooh!!! I LOVE Surprises!!!! Am like a lil Kiddo at Christmas!! ( STILL love gettin new crayons & colorin books too!) I will never “grow up”….even tho our oldest Kiddo is almost 40! lol

  31. First of all, Happy Birthday! I like to be surprised! In fact, I don’t even like to be told what my daughters have gotten for others in our family because I want to be surprised along with them!

  32. I usually seem to figure out the gift, but I do like to be surprised. My one daughter will not let me shake my gift because I often guess what it is. :)

  33. I love the surprise. If you open everything early, you end up with nothing under the tree. It’s just not christmas with an empty tree. (now presents from friends who mail them.. their a pleasant surprise NOW =)

  34. I’m the sneaky one! Looking for the unwrapped presents. I’ve been known to even open the wrapped one and then rewrap without being caught! Opps I guess the cat is out of the bag now.

  35. When I was a kid I was sneaky and HAD to know… got really good at rewrapping and matching tape marks, LOL. Now I want to be surprised. Thanks for the giveaway.

  36. I like surprises, but I might shake a box, just a little to see how heavy it is, or if it rattles or squeaks.

  37. Ever since I ruined the surprise of my mother making me Barbie clothes one Christmas when I was a kid, I love a surprise.

  38. Pingback: Contests & Giveaways for Sewers & Quilters | wow i like that

  39. After I found out that the attic was Christmas hiding place central, I would sneak up and shake, even prying open a corner of the wrapping one time. However, the knowing ruined MY Christmas, even though I didn’t let on that I peaked. I never wanted to sneak a peak again, so I guess it’s surprises for me.
