Tumbler quilt

So, I finally got that binding on and finished this way too old UFO! That’s an Un-Fininshed Object for you newbies! I would say most quilters have a few of these, some of us way too many. My goal this year is to wrap up some of these lonely, abandoned quilt projects!

This quilt was super easy to make. I used the Tumbler Template by Natalie Dawn that I purchased at Missouri Star Quilt Company. You get yourself one of these and a charm pack or two and you are good to go. I added a nice wide border to give it some size(getting a little lazy at the end) and voila!  This fabric is Perennial by Benartex and some pink that I had to match. It was fun to quilt because you could follow the lines of the blocks and zig zag your way along. I did the binding from some leftover green that I had in my stash using this tutorial. I  doing the binding, that’s right…I’m wierd I know:)

Do you like the green binding? It was a toss up between green or pink. I haven’t decided on a name for this quilt. I would love to hear your ideas. So let ’em rip!
