And the Winner is…

Shauna!

Congrats Shauna and I hope you will share with us what you make out of this sassy little bundle:)

Now, on to a Sassy Tip;) You may have noticed this hasn’t really been a weekly occurrence…okay, okay not even monthly! *wince* Well, here it is anyway:

If you are having trouble threading a needle try it from the other side. One side of the eye is always a little bigger!

Make sure to check out the Quilt Parade over at Happy Quilting today, so many gorgeous Star Surrounds!

Keep it Sassy

Congratulations Shauna, Your having a quilt-tastic day!! Thanks Paula for the tip. Heading over to Happy Quilting to check out the parade.

  2. I had NO idea that one side of the hole is bigger!

  3. You forgot to mention closing one eye and sticking your tongue out to the left. Works every time! Ha, ha! Congratulations to Shauna!

  4. Very nice! Someone showed me the pinch method about a year ago, and I swear, it is life changing. I dont really know how to describe it other than you pinch the thread between your thumb and forefinger and slide the needle over the thread. Once you get it, works every time!

  5. Congratulations to Shauna! My tip for threading needles is to remember that you got so old you need to put some glasses on, hahahaaa!!!! (Works every time for me :D ) It also helps if you run your thread through some beeswax :) x

  6. not heard that one but we have a lady quilter Jennie Rayment here in the UK that says instead of wetting the thread wet the eye of the needle and it threads easily

  7. Nice tip!! Congrats!

  8. Thanks for the tip.Congrats to Shauna!
