When sewing on your binding….use a walking foot.
A walking foot is great for long seams and it keeps them smooth and flat
instead of slowly wrinkling up on you.

You’re so right. I’ve had one since Santa left it in my stocking last Christmas. For some reason I was intimidated by it and it has just been sitting around, until tonight when I finally tried it out. Totally different binding experience and completely worth it.
