Cotton Bliss is also participating in Moda’s Piece and Comfort Challenge. This is a quilt challenge that honors military families and all that they sacrifice.

To participate, fifty percent of your fabrics have to be from this fabric line by Sandy Gervais….

    I can not participate. Darn, pulled everything out of my craft room into the bedroom, living room, and some in the kitchen. Resolution is to touch everything crafty I have and make sure it really is where it’s suppose to be.

  16. I am most definitely going to participate. I am going to use a layer cake and yardage both. My nephew who is in the Air force just moved his family to Korea for a three year tour of duty. So this quilt is for him.

    If I ever get caught up on my huge To-Do list , I would love to do a challenge, or a quilt-along. If I did I think I would like to play with a jelly roll most of all.

    I would love to participate! Would gather some friends to help piece it. I think a layer cake would be great! But would need a bit of yardage for boarders. Have a pattern in mind already!

  73. I’d go for yardage! My quilt would be full of lovely fabric and tears for sure. My dad was in the Marines and he’s gone now.

  74. My friend and I made baby quilts for all the expectant mothers when the National Guard from our town was activated for the Gulf War, and again when they went to Iraq and again in Afghanistan. I would love to participate with jelly rolls. Thanks.

    My choice would be fat quarters so I would have enough different fabrics to make a scrap quilt.

  84. I would use a jelly roll because I seem to have the easiest time coming up with patterns to use with jelly rolls – and I barely have to do any cutting. Win!

  85. I find that using jelly rolls are the way to go for me…easiest to cut up into my own squares and sizes and just so manageable! That’s what I’d choose to use for this project.
